Consider requesting a penthouse suite upgrade for fine views and a quieter stay, as noise from neighbors can be bothersome.

The room was clean, the beds comfortable (except the pillow, which was like marshmallow) and the restaurant very good.
The owners of this establishment need to decide whether they want to run a restaurant (good) or a hotel (dire). We stayed there on two non-consecutive nights. The first room they put us in would be called a dog box around here. It was small, hot and stuffy, but you couldn't open the window because of the noise from the street. The bathroom was 1.2 m x 1.2 m (is this legal?). The room itself appeared to have been furnished with rejects from the local tip. The flooring was cheap and nasty mock wood. There was no sound insulation from other rooms. The second room was higher up the building, larger and quieter except for the other guests. A decision needs to be made by the owners, and soon.

The room lacked air conditioning, especially during the summer nights, which disrupted sleep. The bathroom felt cramped, and the limited options for warm food during breakfast was a letdown, as I struggled to find an egg when I wanted one. The noise insulation is poor, and the sounds from neighboring rooms were annoying.

Excellent rate, friendly and helpful staff and good location next to the station.
The decor is a little tired and the bathroom was extremely small - that said the rate was very good, the breakfast was substantial and the hotel was very clean.

The receptionist was multi-lingual and spoke excellent English
There was nothing I didliked about this hotel. It was extremely convenient to the central trail station as well as to the downtown shopping area. It has a really fine restaurant.

The staff was very warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel is located a short distance from the train station - a hub for many alpine rail adventures. The buffet breakfast provides a good variety of choices for both the vegetarian and carnivore. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. The decor reminded me of home.
